Perry Lake is a great place to hike if you like easy 4 mile lake hikes. Mostly, gravel and relatively flat. Lots of wildlife, saw numerous cranes and egrets -huge birds with large wingspans. Also a haven for turtles, many lounging on dead trees soaking in the sun. The Lake is just off I-55, so an easy leg stretcher if you are traveling on the interstate.
